About
We are small family breeders of CKC registered dogs for the past 23 years and are located in Southwestern Ontario. We breed and exhibit English Bulldogs and adorable Boston Terriers. We recently added a few French Bulldogs to the mix and are very excited about this.
It all began with purebred bulldogs and we have branched out from there. It has been a rewarding but difficult journey as when it all began we were very naive and we trusted everyone. We learned the hard way that you must do your research, health testing and be willing to spend a lot of money. You must also be willing to eliminate dogs from your breeding program that do not conform to the health or breed standard, no matter how much you paid for them. You must also be able to function on very little sleep while you raise your puppies. The most asked question: People ask if we have ever seen any health issues in our lines. YES!!! If you find a breeder that tells you that they have never had any health issues....run! They are lying to you. Anything live can be sick or worse. We can do all of the health testing in the world but mother nature can be cruel sometimes. My husband, Albert and I fostered children for 25 years and have three beautiful children of our own and eleven grandchildren which ensure well socialized puppies. It all began as a very expensive hobby and has remained as such lol. People think we are crazy to take on the challenges that come with breeding brachycephalic breeds and I cant disagree. It can be very heartbreaking at times but with that comes the rewards of supplying our puppy people with a loving family member. I purchased two Boston Terriers when my granddaughter Jaden was very young as she wanted to show dogs but the bulldogs were just too big. We started with Ruby and Gemma and branched out from there. My daughter Holly, her husband Derek and their four boys are now the face of the Boston Terriers and her four boys love to help out. My daughter Dallas, husband Mitch and their four children help out raising the bulldog puppies which is a very tough and time consuming task. My son Josh, his wife Rachel and his two girls come over to help spoil the puppies but are not involved in the day to day working of Aldars. My niece Chalice lives with us and is a very big help as well. All of our dogs are loved family members first and breeding dogs second. If their health is at risk or a health problem should arise, we connect with our trusted vets immediately to correct any issues. We do not have a kennel and all of the dogs live as family members. We do have a foster program and some of our dogs live with friends and family. We have made may great friends over the past 23 years of breeding and exhibiting and look forward to what 2022 has in store for us. Meet everyone below!!! |
